Hey, I’m Tia (she/her)! I’ll be bringing my whole self to our shared space so you feel safe to bring yours. We will collaborate and explore what is important to you in the moment. Through the therapeutic relationship, you’ll be able to discuss concerns with an objective, non-judgmental person who can support you with your wellness in mind. I use a combination of my education, research, and lived experience to guide my counselling practice in the best way to serve you.
I have a deep love of social justice, person-centred therapy, and life-long learning.
I have my MA in Family Studies and Gerontology from Mount Saint Vincent University (Thesis: Why Bi?: Bisexual Individuals’ Coming Out Experiences), and my MEd. in Counselling from Acadia University.
I very much look forward to working with you. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
